Red Sunblaze® Rose makes a fine choice for the outdoor landscape, but it is also well-suited for use in outdoor pots and containers. This particular variety is an interspecific hybrid. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. It does best in average to evenly moist conditions, but will not tolerate standing water. These are dark green, with a reddish overlay, especially when they are young, which sets off the dark color of the blooms perfectly. It has many vigorous green stems, covered from top to bottom in neat leaves.
